Vacations And Hotels: Why People Need Vacations And Hotels
Things sometimes get out of hand and we simply want an escape. A change of pace, cool off from heat, soul searching with mother nature, or get an adrenaline rush - we all need to break off from our day to day tedium and indulge ourselves with the pleasures of life. Taking a vacation is essential if we want to survive from our monotonous, mundane and stressed out daily regime.
Going on a vacation does not equate to useless spending spree to satisfy our caprice. More than a vanity, it is a need. Unlike equipment running on motors, we can’t go on all those miles with short gas stops. An integral part of our lifestyle, vacations are as important as annual trips to the denstist.
3 reasons why we need vacations:
1. Being over productive can result in burnout. When you push yourself to the limit, you come to a point of inefficiency. Instead of contributing, you tend to be a nuisance to everyone at a burnt out state. We need to push the red stop button and go on a nice trip to the beach.
2. Serious ailments could come from chronic stress. Sleep deprivation topped with chronic stress is too much for the body to handle. Sleep deprivation could pose a slippery slope of health issues. From lack of sleep, to altered moods triggered irregular body chemistry, up to poor digestion and organ dysfunction is only minor from the long list of health risks involved. We tend to be chronically stressed if we don’t know how to stop when we need to stop. A vacation is all we need to recharge our battery pack.
3. With stress and burnout, the rest of our day is left for sleeping making it hard for our families. Our relationship with our families are compromised because of our schedule. We work very hard to earn a living for our beloved but its really sad that after doing everything, it seems our work is still not enough. Taking time for our families and taking them to family vacations can strengthen those bonds while getting to live those precious Kodak moments.
In short, over stressed people are counter-productive, unhealthy, and bad at relationships. And the best solution, if not the only, for these problems are taking out of town or out of the country vacations and staying at hotels or cabins or Nipa huts.
How then are vacations planned? Decide first where you want to go. Determine your itinerary. Determine your budget and start saving up. Contact several hotels for your booking. Book the best hotel for your stay. Seeking help form online sites are all normal. Create your checklist. It should look like this:
1. Geographical aspects of the destination
2. Proof of identity
3. Determine who will stay with your house and your pet
4. Clothing essentials
5. Health insurance policy
6. Organize your wallet with your checking account and minimal amount of credit cards
7. All of your online sites and businesses should be on vacation mode
8. Give everyone a heads up that you will take a break
9. Mobile subscription for international roaming
10. Personal items needed
11. Cameras and video recorders
12. Checklist for miscellaneous items
Take all necessary precautions and assignments. If staying in a fancy hotel, visit the site daily. Let this serve as an inspiration for you.
